How do I search for a particular analysis across multiple projects in a Synthesis repository?
You can use the Synthesis Explorer (Home > Synthesis > Synthesis Explorer) to search across multiple projects in a repository. It includes two types of filters that you could use together to customize the parameters of a search:
- Project filters – search for particular projects in a database.
- Item filters – search for particular analyses, resources, plots or diagrams within a project.
For example, you could use both filters to search for analyses that match a particular part number AND that belong to projects that meet a given criteria.
The project filter can either be a query based on specific criteria, or a selected list of projects you want to search. This is the project filter used in the example.
- The item filter allows you to use Synthesis identifiers (Name, Part Number, Version, etc.) in the criteria. This is the item filter used in the example.
