Improving Product Reliability Using Design of Experiments

Design of Experiments (DOE) has been widely used to quickly identify important factors and to determine the best values of them in order to optimize the performance of a product or process. In this article, we will give an example using DOE++ to improve product reliability, and at the same time make sure the product meets its functional requirement.

Congratulations Dr. Haitao Liao and Dr. Huairui Guo!

The University of Arizona’s SIED Associate Professor, Dr. Haitao Liao, and ReliaSoft's Director of Theoretical Development, Dr. Huairui (Harry) Guo, were awarded the 2014 William A. Golomski Award from the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) for the best paper authored by a member of IIE, Quality and Reliability Engineering Division. Dr. Liao and Dr. Guo co-authored "A Generic Method for Modeling Accelerated Life Testing Data" and presented the paper at RAMS 2013.
