Using BlockSim for System
Capability Analysis
In highly available systems, additional metrics of system capabilities are
often needed for system evaluation. In this article, we will explore an example where
BlockSim's throughput analysis
capability is used in order to perform such analysis. To read more, see

The Distribution Wizard in Weibull++ 7
When performing life data
analysis, Weibull++ 7's
Distribution Wizard can provide guidance in selecting a
distribution based on statistical tests. The Distribution Wizard uses
three factors in order to rank
distributions: the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test, a normalized
correlation coefficient and the likelihood value. This
article will show how these rankings are calculated.

Probabilistic Event Simulation -
RS 525 Simulation Modeling for Reliability and Risk
Analysis is a three-day course that focuses on
the principles of probabilistic event and risk analysis
using simulation techniques and building probabilistic
event models and diagrams with ReliaSoft's
RENO software.
This course includes numerous hands-on applications and
case studies that address complex reliability, risk and
safety analysis as well as optimization methods. For a
complete course overview, please visit
