* How can Definitions and Constructs in a RENO project be edited without having to open each one?

RENO's Item Properties Table, accessed by selecting Item Properties Table from the Project menu, allows you to view and/or edit the properties of the Definitions and Constructs within the current project in separate worksheets. To edit the properties of an item within the current project, select the item name under the corresponding folder in the Item Properties Table Control Panel on the left side of the Item Properties Table.

If you selected a Flowchart, the worksheet on the right will display columns with information for all of the Constructs in the selected Flowchart. If you selected a Template, the worksheet on the right will display columns with information for all of the Constructs in the selected Template. If you selected a Definition, the worksheet on the right will display columns with information for the selected Definition.

From the worksheet, you can edit any of the information for the Constructs or Definitions by clicking inside a cell and entering the desired information. The columns in the Item Properties Table correspond with the properties that are available in the properties window for the Construct or Definition.

* What options are available in Xfmea/RCM++ to prioritize issues identified by the FMEA?

Xfmea and RCM++ allow you to identify high, medium and low priority issues based on RPN, Severity, Occurrence, Detection or Severity x Occurrence. For example, if you specify that all records associated with an occurrence => 7 are considered to be high priority, then those records will be highlighted to identify the priority assigned to the issue. The priority ranges and colors can be set via the Priority page of the User Setup, as shown next.

If you select Show colors in reports and query results, the records will be highlighted in the query results and in reports generated using the Report Generation window, based on the specifications on this page.

The priority of the records can be displayed in the Project window, in either the FMEA Hierarchy or the FMEA Worksheet view, by selecting Highlight Priority from the View menu or by clicking the Priority Highlights icon.

You can also select to use the priority highlight colors in RPN pareto (bar) charts in the Plot Viewer. To do this, click the Plot Setup icon in the Plot Viewer Control Panel.

On the Lines, Bars and Pies page of the Plot Setup window, in the Pareto Chart Bars area, select Use Priority Colors, as shown next.

Please note that if you select to use the Priority colors instead of the Primary and Secondary bar colors, then the plot legend does not apply and will not be displayed on the affected pareto charts.
