Standards Based Reliability Prediction: Applicability and Usage to Augment
RBDs
Part I: Introduction to Standards Based Reliability Prediction and Lambda
Predict
There are many situations in which you need to make a prediction about a
products performance before the product is actually in production, by which
point test data or warranty data should become available for analysis. In
such situations, using a standards based reliability prediction tool becomes
the best available approach. This article discusses the applicability,
advantages and disadvantages of standards based reliability prediction.

Introduction to the Temperature-Humidity Relationship
When performing accelerated life
testing analysis, a life distribution and a life-stress relationship are
required. The temperature-humidity (T-H) relationship, a variation of the
Eyring relationship, has been proposed for predicting the life at use
conditions when temperature and humidity are the accelerated stresses in a
test. This article explains the characteristics of the T-H relationship and
its parameters.
