How can I get documentation, examples, technical support and free updates for Version 8 Synthesis applications?
In all Version 8 Synthesis applications (Weibull++, ALTA, BlockSim, Xfmea and RCM++), the Help Center (File > Help) provides quick access to a variety of resources that will help you find the assistance you need.
You can open the application’s help file from anywhere within the application by pressing F1. It’s also easily accessible from the Help Center along with a link to the application’s print-ready User’s Guide in PDF format (access to the PDF requires an active Internet connection).
You can explore a wide selection of application-specific example projects with attached documents that explain the demonstrated features. Just click the Open Examples Folder button and browse for the examples repository that meets your needs.
If you have an active Internet connection, you can also open the application’s print-ready Quick Start Guide (in PDF format), which contains step-by-step examples designed to help you quickly learn how to master the software’s most commonly used features.
The Help Center makes it easy to generate an e-mail to ReliaSoft’s technical support personnel that is pre-populated with information about your license and operating system that may be needed to troubleshoot the issue.
You can also quickly get contact information to obtain technical support, either from ReliaSoft’s corporate headquarters or from the regional office closest to your location.
If you have an active Internet connection, you can quickly check to see if the Synthesis applications on your computer are up to date. If they are not, you can automatically download and install the latest free service release.
Manage your license
The Help Center displays basic information about your license and registration details. It also provides access to the License Manager where you can activate and deactivate your license, when applicable, or update your contact information that is on file with ReliaSoft.
