Box-Behnken Designs for Optimizing Product Performance
Design of Experiments (DOE) is a set of techniques that revolve around the study
of the influence of the different variables that affect a
controlled experiment. Generally, the first step is to identify the independent variables or
factors that affect the product or process, and then study their effects on
a dependent variable or response. In this article, we will give an example on how to use
Box-Behnken Designs in DOE++ to determine the settings of factors that would result in the optimum value of the response.

Analyzing Maintenance Data with the Event Log Folio in Weibull++
Companies in the manufacturing world face an ever increasing pressure to make the manufacturing process as cost-effective as possible. Maintenance is an integral part of that process and effective maintenance policies can lead to reduced manufacturing costs. However, in order to determine the appropriate maintenance policies, we must first quantify the reliability and maintainability
of physical assets, such as a piece of equipment in an assembly line. This article provides a simple example of how to analyze maintenance data using the event log folio in
Weibull++, and how to use the results of this analysis in a reliability block diagram in
