Using Simulation to Determine the Required Spare
Parts for Fielded Systems A question that often
arises when dealing with a fleet of fielded systems is how
many spare parts will be required to support the operation
of the fleet and achieve desired availability levels. This
article provides an example of how BlockSim can be
used to determine the appropriate number of spare parts
in this situation.

Reliability Basics |
Using SimuMatic in RGA Simulation is
a very powerful tool that can assist with developing test
plans or generating bootstrap confidence intervals. This
article will describe the function of SimuMatic in RGA
and provide an example of how SimuMatic can be used to determine
the sample size that is needed to demonstrate a reliability
goal at a specified confidence level. To read more,

SMRP
Conference
2011
- Thanks to all of you who visited our booth at
the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals
(SMRP) 19th Annual Conference this year! It was
refreshing to see so many engineers from the maintenance
and reliability community seeking out information
related to
asset performance management supported by reliability
engineering. The expressed desire to tackle
such challenges was heard loud and clear.
See you next year! |
